If you think that quitting the cancer stick during your pregnancy will just add to your stress levels, you are right. Of course, it would not be easy. However, those stress levels are better, than to actually have you and your baby suffer other medical conditions because of your smoking.

Another tip would be to take a breather. Meditate, do yoga, or just visualize aka daydream. Do not stress yourself. Think of other things that should distract you from taking another puff of cigarette. Keep yourself constantly occupied about completely erasing cigarettes from your vocabulary.

Just remember that you are not alone now, instead, think that you have a baby with you twenty-four hours a day for the next nine months. Focus on that new life inside of you. You will most probably be more attentive to feeling your baby’s movement in your belly instead of concentrating on your need to get another stick.
